About Powerade: Powerade is a sports drink manufactured and marketed by The Coca-Cola Company. Its primary competitor is PepsiCo's Gatorade brands. As of December 2010, Powerade has grown to take 21.7 percent of the United States market in the sports drink category, compared to Gatorade's 77.2 percent.[1] In 2009, Powerade was relaunched as Powerade ION4, a formulation that contains four key electrolytes in the same ratio that is typically lost in sweat.[2] PepsiCo sued The Coca-Cola Company, after ads were released claiming that Gatoradewas an incomplete sports drink, since it only contained two of the four key electrolytes. The presiding judge ruled in favor of Coca-Cola, for a number of reasons: the ads were no longer running, Gatorade had made similar claims about their Endurance line, and Pepsi failed to show any harm or damage caused by the ads, which were only designed to run for sixty days.

The Canadian Open (also known as the Canada Masters), currently sponsored as the Rogers Cup presented by National Bank, is an annual tennis tournament held in Canada. The men's competition is a Masters 1000 event on the Association of Tennis Professionals (ATP) tour. The women's competition is a Premier 5 tournament on the Women's Tennis Association (WTA) tour. The competition is played on hard courts. The events alternate from year to year between the cities of Montreal and Toronto. More than 7,000 athletes from across the Americas and Caribbean will put their years of intense training, perseverance and sacrifice to the test in world-class competition in 36 Pan Am sports and 15 Parapan Am sports at the TORONTO 2015 Pan Am / Parapan Am Games. The TORONTO 2015 Games will involve municipalities stretching from Oshawa to Welland. Games of this magnitude cannot happen without the help of volunteers, some 20,000 of whom will help deliver the best Pan Am / Parapan Am Games ever. Putting on a major multi-sport Games requires sound financial management to ensure resources are well managed and the Games remain on budget. The overall budget for TORONTO 2015 is approximately CAD$1.4 billion, split almost equally between the operating and capital development budgets.
